How you can help others during the coronavirus crisis without leaving your home

With many of us confined to our homes during the coronavirus crisis we look at how you are able to help those local businesses and individuals struggling without leaving the comfort of your home.

Local businesses

Most local businesses have been forced to close and some of the local restaurants that turned to delivery or takeaway now closed also, many people are worried that lost profits may mean some businesses are unable to re-open once the self-isolation restrictions are lifted.

Businesses will be using social media to share any schemes they have in place where you will be able to support them. This could include delivery of food, drink or other household products, or gift voucher you can buy for yourself or for gifts to redeem once the pandemic crisis is over.

Charities

With the towns charity shops closing their doors to allow their volunteers to self-isolate, the charities will be seeing a sharp fall in their incomes. Right know you are going to be unable to help out volunteering, but, there are plenty of charities and funds you can donate to if you have find yourself with a spare few pennies during this outbreak.
