Honda has informed Associates and suppliers that production operations at Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM), in Swindon, UK, has been temporarily suspended due to the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Production was suspended from the end of yesterdays late shift. These steps have been taken in light of increasing difficulties with supply chains and considering the wellbeing of Honda Associates.
The current intention is to restart production on 6th April however, this will be dependent upon advice from Government / health authorities, and market and supply conditions.
