Students and staff at Highworth Warneford School are celebrating a significant achievement this academic year as they’ve met all three criteria to be recognised as a Careerpilot superuser.
Careerpilot, a free website offering impartial career information to students aged 13-19 in the South West region, is a valuable resource providing insights into various job sectors, educational choices at different stages, and career tools to aid decision-making. Additionally, it offers resources for teachers in the Adviser Zone and a dedicated Parent Zone.
Upon meeting the requirements, the school has been awarded a certificate and will proudly display a logo showcasing its superuser status.
Andy Steele, Headteacher of Highworth Warneford School, expressed his delight, saying, “This award is a fantastic recognition of achieving our aim to provide every student with high-quality careers information as well as specifically teaching the skills that employers are seeking.”
He added, “All students have access to up-to-date careers information to research future pathways. I’m delighted that students are supported at all stages of their time at the school to make good, positive choices.”
The recognition underscores the school’s commitment to empowering students with the knowledge and resources necessary to navigate their career journeys effectively.
