Junctions 3, 6, 14, 20 and 31 of the M25 surrounding London have been closed this morning due to a number of protesters sittiing in the middle of the carriageways.
Insulate Britain, a climate change protest group, was behind the stunt and said they did it to ‘demand that the government gets on with the job of insulating Britain’s homes.’
The group said today’s disruption was ‘just the start’ as they try to force politicians to ‘make a meaningful commitment to insulate Britain’s 29 million leaky homes.’
