In a heartening display of community spirit and a shared commitment to enriching lives, Halo Staffing of Royal Wootton Bassett has forged a dynamic alliance with Leonard Cheshire.
Together, they’re embarking on a mission to raise awareness about learning disabilities, equipping disabled individuals with the tools to live, learn, and work independently.
Halo Staffing, revered for its expertise in delivering staffing solutions within the realm of Health and Social Care across England and Wales, aspires to be the premier choice for all things Health and Social Care. In a remarkable three-year collaboration, Halo Staffing is set to contribute invaluable support by donating 10% of the revenue generated from all sales of their eLearning course, Learning Disability Awareness.
Scott Shill, the Managing Director of Halo Staffing, expresses his deep-seated conviction, stating, “Having supported people of all abilities for over 25 years I have seen what a difference you can make by empowering people. People of all abilities should be empowered to make their own life choices; living, working, and learning how they wish. Although this has improved, there is still much to learn for many people.”
The sentiment is echoed by Jack Cuthbertson, the Leonard Cheshire Fundraising Development Executive, who enthuses, “We’re thrilled to be working with Halo Staffing to raise funds that support our work. Leonard Cheshire relies on the generosity of organisations such as Halo Staffing, and their support will help make a real and lasting difference in the lives of disabled people.
“It’s also great to be working with an organisation that shares Leonard Cheshire’s vision for a more inclusive world, one where disabled people are supported to live as independently as they choose, whatever their ability, and we’re looking forward to seeing where the partnership develops.”
The need for increased awareness and understanding of learning disabilities and their impact on individuals and families is paramount. Halo Staffing and Leonard Cheshire are extending an open invitation to individuals and communities to enrich their knowledge and compassion by enrolling in the comprehensive eLearning course. This initiative not only equips participants with vital insights but also contributes towards raising crucial funds to further Leonard Cheshire’s transformative work.
