A groom found himself in a precarious situation after being caught driving at an astonishing 121 mph on the M4 between Membury services and Junction 15 on Sunday, 11th June 2023, while en route to his own wedding.
To compound matters further, his vehicle was fitted with a worn nearside tyre, exposing the cords, which only added to the severity of the situation.

The incident unfolded when traffic police on a routine patrol noticed the groom’s vehicle hurtling down the motorway near Membury Services at an alarming speed.
Upon pulling the vehicle over, the officers discovered not only the groom’s blatant disregard for the speed limit but also the perilous state of the nearside tyre. With the cords exposed, the tyre posed a serious safety risk, exacerbating the gravity of the offense.
Consequently, the driver has been reported to court. The repercussions of the speeding offense and the compromised tyre could lead to severe penalties, including substantial fines, points on the driver’s license, and even a potential driving ban.
It is not known if the groom made it to his wedding on time?
