Work to widen the footway/cycleway along Great Western Way (B4006), alongside B&Q, has begun.
The work may take up to six weeks to complete and we will need to close one lane between Barnfield Roundabout and Galton Way (eastbound) for about a week.
This is likely to be in February half-term outside of peak traffic hours in order to keep disruption to a minimum.
Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained at all times, with pedestrians diverted to the southern footway where necessary.
