Good Energy has been unveiled as the proud sponsor of The Festival of Sustainable Homes.
Set to grace Swindon on Friday and Saturday, May 17th-18th, this eagerly awaited event is poised to draw crowds from far and wide across the South West.
Taking place at the esteemed National Self Build & Renovation Centre, the family-friendly event will boast over 200 exhibitors offering invaluable insights and guidance on fostering sustainability within homes. Attendees can anticipate engaging talks, enlightening educational tours, and a nature zone spotlighting the efforts of environmental charities and organisations.
Based in Chippenham, Good Energy has been at the forefront of clean energy for a quarter of a century. With a commitment to supplying electricity sourced from a network of over 2,000 renewable generators across the UK, the company also specialises in bespoke solar panel and heat pump installations.
Laura Wildish, Head of Marketing at Good Energy, expressed her enthusiasm for supporting the NSBRC’s inaugural festival, anticipating a resounding success. “As the climate crisis looms large, people are increasingly eager to adopt greener practices, starting with how we power and heat our homes,” she remarked. “The festival provides an ideal platform for individuals seeking to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle.”
Situated at Lydiard Fields, just off junction 16 of the M4, the NSBRC stands as the UK’s sole permanent visitor centre tailored specifically to cater to the needs of self-builders, renovators, and home improvers. Managing Director Harvey Fremlin hailed Good Energy as the festival’s ideal partner, citing their 25-year legacy as renewable pioneers and their proximity to Chippenham.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Good Energy in empowering thousands to discover the secrets of crafting better, sustainable homes,” Fremlin enthused.
The Festival of Sustainable Homes is scheduled to run from 9am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, May 17th-18th, offering complimentary parking for attendees. Advanced booking guarantees free entry, with tickets available via www.nsbrc.co.uk.
In addition to their support for The Festival of Sustainable Homes, Good Energy is also proud to sponsor Chippenham Pride on Saturday, June 15th.
