Going to Great Heights to Save Lives

Health and Social Care staffing specialists Halo Staffing from Royal Wootton Bassett have announced a three-year partnership with Wiltshire Air Ambulance, pledging to donate 10% of its revenue to support their vital, life-saving services.

When every second counts in life-or-death situations, access to reliable medical assistance is crucial. Wiltshire Air Ambulance, a local charity providing helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) in Wiltshire, Bath, and surrounding areas, plays a critical role.

Together, Halo Staffing and Wiltshire Air Ambulance aim to raise awareness about the positive impact they have on various communities and promote Halo Staffing’s care training course, Standard 12 – Basic Life Support.

As part of the collaboration, Halo Staffing, who specialise in offering temporary and permanent staffing solutions across the health and care sectors, will contribute much-needed funds by donating 10% of the revenue generated from all sales of the Basic Life Support course.

Scott Shill, Managing Director, expressed his inspiration after visiting the Wiltshire Air Ambulance base, stating, “I am thoroughly inspired by the dedication and enthusiasm of everyone I met at Wiltshire Air Ambulance while they provide an essential service.”

Naomi Barker, Corporate Partnerships Lead at Wiltshire Air Ambulance, stated, “Each year, we need to raise £4 million to sustain our helicopter operations and continue saving lives. We do not receive regular direct government funding or support from the National Lottery, relying instead on generous donations from the public and local businesses like Halo Staffing to sustain our life-saving work.

“We are thrilled and privileged that Halo Staffing has chosen us as their first charity to support. We eagerly anticipate the next three years of our partnership!”

Over the course of their three-year collaboration, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Halo Staffing will continue working together to advance their mission of saving lives. By joining forces, they hope to inspire individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of others, contributing to a safer and better world.
