Could you survive using just everyday items? Children aged 8 and above are invited to join a fun and interactive activity at Swindon libraries this month, where they’ll learn the basics of survival from former Special Forces instructor Jeremy Holt.
During these one-hour sessions, Jeremy will show children what goes into a survival tin, explain why each item matters, and demonstrate how these simple tools could be used in real-life situations.
At the end of the session, every child will get the chance to put together their very own survival tin to take home – all materials provided, completely free of charge.
Parents and carers are welcome to stay, but the activity is designed especially for children aged 8 and over. No booking is needed – just come along!
