Four Arrested After Drugs Warrant Executed in Swindon

Swindon police have made four arrests following a successful operation targeting the supply of Class A drugs in the Eldene area on Monday morning, 14th January.

At around 9.30am, officers from the North, East, and Rural Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT), supported by Armed Response and the Dogs Unit, executed two simultaneous warrants at properties on Bowleymead and Kennedy Drive. The operation resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of suspected crack cocaine, mobile phones, cash, and a small amount of cannabis.

Three men, aged in their 30s and 40s, and a woman in her 50s, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. One of the men was also arrested on suspicion of possessing both Class A and B drugs. All four individuals have been taken into custody for questioning as investigations continue.

PC Carty, who led the operation, commented: “This was a very successful morning, which has seen both Class A and B drugs taken off the streets of Swindon. Four people are now in custody, and we will be questioning them further. The importance of community intelligence cannot be overstated. It’s crucial that we continue to hear from the public to help us build a complete picture of what is happening in our communities.”
