Five arrested for being concerned in supply of class B drugs on Eastcott Hill

Wiltshire Police have arrested five males in Swindon on charges related to drugs offences.

The incident occurred during the early hours of Tuesday morning when patrolling officers identified a vehicle linked to gang activity in the area.

The officers promptly conducted a stop of the vehicle on Eastcott Hill, at which point one individual attempted to flee from the scene.

However, with the assistance of Police Dog Conan, the individual was swiftly apprehended and returned to the vehicle. Inside the car, four additional males were present.

Following a thorough search of both the vehicle and the individuals, a significant amount of cash and cannabis were discovered. The confiscated cash amounted to several hundred pounds, further substantiating the suspicion of drug-related activity.

The five males, aged 15, 16, 20, 22, and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of class B drugs. They are currently in police custody, where they will undergo questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
