Final Call for Swindon Groups to Apply for £10,000 Community Fund

Time is running out for local groups and charities in Swindon to apply for a share of Redrow South West’s £10,000 community fund, with the deadline fast approaching on 30th September 2024. The housebuilder, currently developing homes at Badbury Park, is urging organisations, no matter how small, to get their applications in before the deadline.

Launched to support the many deserving groups, charities, and organisations in Swindon, the fund aims to provide essential financial backing for a range of local causes. From providing art supplies for Brownies to new equipment for search and rescue teams, the initiative is designed to help local groups continue their vital work. Last year’s fund saw over £10,000 donated, with one of the beneficiaries being Swindon Pickleball, a local sports team.

Sian Smith, Sales Director at Redrow South West, said, “We’re entering the final stretch of this year’s community fund, and we’re calling on all local groups and charities to share their stories with us. Whether your group is in need of a little help or significant support, we want to hear from you.”
