With Christmas just weeks away, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon is gearing up to welcome shoppers with a host of festive activities and a sprinkle of seasonal magic.
Transforming into a winter wonderland, the Centre unveils Santa’s Flight School – a captivating family experience launching on 30th November and running daily until Christmas Eve.
Santa’s Flight School invites families to step into the enchanting Forest Glade, where children can meet Santa’s magical reindeer, play festive games with the Forest Flight elves, and even learn how to fly in Santa’s sleigh. The immersive experience, designed to create unforgettable memories, promises 30 minutes of festive fun filled with crafts, delightful characters, and picture-perfect moments.
While Santa’s Flight School is free to attend, a £2.50 deposit per child is required when booking. This can either be refunded on arrival or donated to the Centre’s charity partner, Julia’s House Hospice. With demand expected to be high, families are encouraged to book their slots early to secure their place at this magical event.
In a show of inclusivity, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon is also offering dedicated SEN sessions for children who thrive in quieter settings. These tailored sessions will run every Tuesday and Sunday morning, ensuring all families can enjoy the festivities in a supportive environment.
Beyond Santa’s Flight School, the Centre continues its commitment to the community by hosting the Swindon Christmas Toy Appeal for the second year. Running from 11th November, a toy donation station at the West Entrance invites shoppers to bring joy to local children by donating new toys. This annual initiative has been a staple in Swindon’s festive calendar for the past five years, making a tangible difference in the lives of many.
