Fencing material worth hundreds stolen in Kingsdown break-in

Fencing material worth approximately £400 was stolen during a burglary overnight in Swindon and police are appealing to the public for information.

Sometime yesterday evening through to this morning (17th – 18th October) a business unit in Tate Estate, Kingsdown Road was broken in to.

After climbing the exterior fence and forcing their way into the building they left taking  wooden fencing material with them from a rear yard.

PC Dale Townsend said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who has information about the burglary itself or anyone who may be about to purchase fencing material, or who has paid someone to purchase fencing material on their behalf without a valid receipt or invoice.

“Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
