Bridlewood Primary School recently cut the ribbon on a cutting-edge sports facility, marking the occasion with spirited hockey and football matches.
The grand unveiling occurred during the opening ceremony, commemorating the successful completion of the all-weather sports pitch construction, which spanned six weeks.
Expressing enthusiasm, Headteacher Vicky Sammon remarked, “We want our brand new sports pitch to be used for so much more than team games, it will help all our pupils to be more active, make friends and build up the teamwork skills that are useful in other areas of school life.”
This newly developed games area is set to serve multiple purposes, becoming a hub for PE lessons, hosting after-school clubs, and accommodating an array of outdoor activities and sports, including football, netball, and basketball.
