Swindon telecoms company, Excalibur has triumphed as both the Best Tech Support Service and the Tech Team of the Year 2023 at this year’s prestigious Techies Awards.
The ceremony, held on 12th October at the UK’s first Business Cyber Centre (BCC) in Chippenham’s Greenways Business Park, celebrated the ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit of the tech community in Swindon and Wiltshire.
Kate Westbrook, Head of Commercial at Thrings Solicitors and Awards Judge, commented on Excalibur’s win in the Best Tech Support Service category, stating, “Tech support is a vital part of our lives, and we have many excellent tech support companies in our region, so this category is always hotly contested; Excalibur are the winners of the Best Tech Support Service award! Your success is a testament to your focus on your customers.”
Additionally, Excalibur secured the title of Tech Team of the Year 2023, marking its second victory in this category, having previously claimed the honour in 2020. This accolade underscores the unwavering excellence demonstrated by the Excalibur Tech Team.
Handling approximately 1,800 customer tickets each month, the Service Desk consistently responds to these tickets within an impressive 34-minute average, well within the Service Level Agreement (SLA). This commitment to IT support has resulted in Excalibur achieving an outstanding Customer Satisfaction Score of 98%.
Roger Hak, Chief Technical Officer at Excalibur, expressed his excitement about the double success at the Techies 2023, saying, “An absolutely huge congratulations to our Service Desk Team, who walked away with not one, but two awards at the Techies 2023. These awards accurately reflect the commitment we give to our customers, and to each other to achieve great outcomes. I know the team here demonstrates this every single day. So, it is excellent that this has been recognised not only in our high feedback scores from customers but also by a panel of independent judges.”
