Eurovision Song Contest final to be broadcast live in cinemas across the UK for the first time.

For the first time, the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest will be shown live in cinemas across the UK.

The event, which takes place in Liverpool on Saturday, May 13th will now be shown in over 500 cinemas.

This year’s UK entry for the Eurovision Song Contest is Mae Muller, following Sam Ryder’s runner-up finish to Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra in the previous year. Due to the Russian invasion, Ukraine was unable to host the event, and Liverpool was selected as the host city.

‘We want audiences to enjoy themselves, come along in groups, get your fancy dress on, and come together to enjoy this historic occasion on the big screen.’

Tickets for the grand final at the Liverpool Arena, with a capacity of 11,000, sold out in under 40 minutes after being released at the start of March.

While some preview and live show tickets in May are still available, tickets for the cinema screenings will be available for purchase from ukcinemaparty.com starting at 10 am on Monday, March 27th.
