Online bookmaker Betfair have placed England favourites to win the Euro 2020 championships, ahead of this evening’s quarter final against Ukraine in Italy.
England have been made odds-on favourites to progress this evening with odds of 2/5 to secure the win in 90 minutes and 1/6 to qualify either within 90 minutes, extra time or penalties.

The bookmaker says its has seen more than fans have bet three times the amount of money on England winning Euro 2020 than was placed for the last tournament in 2016.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom: “We’ve seen a record sum of almost £5 million bet on England winning Euro 2020 which suggests confidence in football coming home is at an all-time high.
“England are already hot tournament favourites heading into their quarter final clash with Ukraine and the odds indicate this is now their best chance of major tournament success since 1966.”
