The museum, renowned for its extensive car collection and founded by the mastermind behind the world-famous Haynes car manuals, John Haynes OBE, is turning into a bug-hunting ground. Visitors are encouraged to seek out these tiny invaders that pose a threat to leather, wood, and fabric, exploring how the museum safeguards its historic car collection.

Upon arrival, enthusiasts can collect a trail sheet at the reception, embarking on a journey to locate giant cards placed strategically around the museum. Each card provides fascinating statistics for the bugs, including their size, number of legs, and destruction factor. The trail, seamlessly integrated into the admission price, promises a rewarding experience, with successful bug hunters receiving a well-deserved sticker.

The Big Bug Hunt sets the stage for an unforgettable family day out at the museum. Beyond the hunt, visitors can delve into the world of magnificent motors, ranging from the valuable Duesenberg to the iconic Williams F1 car FW14, once driven by racing legend Nigel Mansell. Engage in interactive activities such as painting a mini, explore the cinema in the Williams exhibition, create a brass rubbing, and let little ones navigate the museum in the fleet of Little Tike cars.

Established in 1985 by John Haynes OBE, the museum boasts 15 exhibition areas covering the evolution of motoring, nostalgic classics from the 50s and 60s, luxurious Bentleys and Rolls Royces, and the awe-inspiring supercars of today.
