Don’t miss out on childcare support you’re entitled to

Whether you have toddlers or teens, you might be entitled to support with childcare costs.

Almost one million eligible families haven’t taken up their right to Tax-Free Childcare, which can help working families pay for any approved childcare for children aged 11 or under, or 16 if the child has a disability. The money can help towards the cost of holiday clubs, before and after-school clubs, childminders and nurseries, and other approved childcare schemes.

This could also include a Tax-Free Childcare account, where the Government contributes 20 per cent of childcare costs. For every £8 you pay into an account, the Government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child per year or £4,000 if the child has a disability. Opening a Tax-Free Childcare account is simple and takes around 20 minutes. Money can be deposited at any time and can be used whenever it’s needed – unused money in the account can be withdrawn at any time. Find out more here.
