Registration for this exciting event costs £25, and participants are encouraged to raise funds through sponsorship for Prospect Hospice. The charity relies on the community’s support to continue providing exceptional end-of-life care to those in need.

A special guest, bronze Olympic medallist and celebrated swimmer Cassie Patten, will grace the occasion, adding to the excitement. Cassie will host the event and share her expertise and passion for open water swimming.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the Prospect Big Swim Challenge,” Cassie shared.

“As an Olympic open water swimmer, I have experienced first-hand the power of determination and community support. By joining this incredible event, I am not only supporting a cause close to my heart but also encouraging others to embrace their potential in open-water swimming. I believe in the transformative impact of sport and its ability to bring people together.

“That’s why I am excited to offer a free introduction to open water swimming session to participants, to help them prepare for this memorable swim. This includes sighting technique tips, as well as pointers to help swimmers complete their swim more efficiently.”
