A driver has been reported to court after his vehicle was stopped in Swindon and he was found in possession of drugs.
Officers from our Roads Policing Unit stopped a Ford Mondeo in Linslade Street in the early hours of this morning following reports which suggested the driver was disqualified.
The driver was detained after he attempted to make off from police.
He was found to have no MOT and no insurance, and the vehicle was subsequently seized.
The driver, a man in his 20s, from Swindon, was also found in possession of class A and B drugs.
He has been reported to court for all offences.
