Dentists set to reopen after three-month coronavirus shutdown

Sara Hurley, the Chief Dentistry Officer (CDO) for England, said today that dentists should start taking routine appointments again from 8th June.

Dentists have been able to perform emergency treatments throughout the lockdown restrictions but routine appointments for procedures such as fillings were banned to prevent the spread of the virus.

To be able to reopen surgeries must have the necessary PPE requirements in place.
