Date Announced for Swindon and Wiltshire Pride 2026

Swindon and Wiltshire Pride has officially announced that its 2026 Pride event will take place on Saturday 15th August 2026, returning to the vibrant and inclusive surroundings of GWR Park in Swindon.

Following the huge success of the 2025 celebration, which attracted more than 15,000 attendees throughout the day, organisers are already preparing to make next year’s event even bigger and more engaging.

The 2025 Pride featured a colourful Pride March through Swindon town centre, culminating in a full day of live entertainment, community stalls, and inclusive activities at GWR Park. Feedback from attendees praised the event’s accessibility, welcoming atmosphere, and strong representation of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Building on success and community spirit

Swindon and Wiltshire Pride continues to champion equality, diversity, and inclusion across the region. Plans for 2026 are already underway, with organisers aiming to increase community involvement, expand accessibility, and deliver an even more memorable experience for all visitors.

Paul Stewart, Chair of Swindon and Wiltshire Pride, said:

“We’re incredibly proud of what we achieved in 2025. The support from the community, local businesses, and volunteers was phenomenal. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026 for another unforgettable celebration of love, identity, and unity.”

Free, inclusive, and community-driven

The event remains free to attend, thanks to the generosity of donations, sponsors, and fundraising efforts. Pride organisers are encouraging both returning supporters and first-time visitors to join the celebration in 2026 — a day dedicated to pride, progress, and the power of community.
