Yeo Valley is looking for two outgoing recruits to get behind the wheel of a silver ice cream van as the dairy farm advertises “best summer job in the world” involving DJ’ing and serving ice cream from a custom camper van for £24k per year.
The company needs two recruits to go and attend festivals and events throughout the UK. At least one of them must be able to DJ to entertain the crowds while the other dishes out treats from the firm’s new range of organic ice cream.
They will be based at Yeo Valley’s HQ in Blagdon, Somerset, which is hailed for having the best staff canteen in the UK with panoramic views over the Mendip Hills.
Applicants must be aged over 21, have a full driving licence and be willing to “strut their stuff” in front of large crowds.
In return for this they will get a generous £24k pro-rata salary, an ice cream allowance and a “super glittery” silver uniform.
A spokeswomen for Yeo Valley said: “This might actually be the best summer job ever.
“There will be road trips, entertaining people, and lots of ice cream.
“We need people who can get the party started.”
