Three Wiltshire men have been charged with various offences relating to Oxford United’s home win against Swindon at the weekend.
Police arrested the three, who are all in their 20s, on Saturday.
Yesterday Mark Gee, aged 24, of Semington Road, Melksham, Wiltshire, was charged with one count of “using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress,” and as well as one count of throwing fireworks in Botley Road.
He has been bailed to appear at Oxford Magistrate’s Court on October 11.
Stuart Greener, aged 25, of Barnes Wallis Close, Bowerhill, Wiltshire was charged with one count of “using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.”
He has been bailed to appear at Oxford Magistrate’s Court on October 11.
Clayton Scott, aged 27, of Islandsmead, Eldene, Swindon, was charged with one count of “using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence” again in Botley Road.
He has been bailed to appear in Oxford Magistrate’s Court on September 26th.
