During the afternoon of Wednesday 22nd February 2017, Officers from the Swindon West Community Policing Team (CPT) executed a Drugs Warrant at Bosham Close in Toothill following numerous complaints from the local community. A 24 year old male from London and a 32 year old female from Swindon were located inside the address.
Following an extensive search, a quantity of what was believed to be Class A and Class B Drugs were located along with a significant amount of cash and other items which suggest a link to drug dealing. Both the male and female were arrested on suspicion of the Supply of Class A and Class B drugs and Money Laundering offences and are now subject to Conditional Police Bail until May 2017, whilst our enquiries continue.
PC Rory Draper of the Swindon West CPT has said “We would like to remind everyone that Wiltshire Police will do everything we can to disrupt the illegal supply of drugs and deal robustly with those who bring misery to many lives. We can only do this if we receive information about the activities from those who live within the affected communities and who see it going on.” If you have any information about drugs or any other criminal activity please let us know via the 101 telephone system or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
