To comply with social distancing rules, supermarkets have being requesting only one person per household to shop in their stores at a time.
Waitrose have taken to Twitter this week saying the “one customer per household” rule was rolled out across all 338 UK Waitrose.
Other supermarkets have been also making similar requests but it appears people are still not listening.

Shoppers turning up with more than one adult in a car are being spoken to at supermarkets around Swindon today with their details being taken.
It is unclear at the moment whether fines are being handed out on the first instance?















Which law makes turning up to a supermarket with another adult illegal? I’ve yet to see it.
What about if people have disabilities and they can’t go shopping alone or stay at home alone .!? Due to physical or mental illness???
