Stratton St Margaret Parish Council – supported by Swindon Borough Council – will be starting a weekly community cafe next week where members of the public will be able to ‘chat with neighbours and housing officers over a cup of tea.’
The Community Cafe Group will meer every Friday from 10am to 12pm at the Meadowcroft Community Centre.
The initiative is also being supported by Swindon Borough Council Housing, Street Reps and Fairshare.
There will also be an opportunity for people to pick up any surplus food collected from local supermarkets.
