Under the cover of darkness the spirit of Christmas was planted on a Swindon roundabout seemingly by Father Christmas’s Elves!
The modest tree, measuring around 1ft tall, has been installed on the roundabout near the Outlet Village and is decorated with multi-coloured lights.

Its small size means it is likely to go unnoticed by many people during the daylight hours.
This is not the first time a Swindon roundabout has been treated to a Christmas tree, the Magic Roundabout has also seen small trees added to the traffic islands in the past much to the amusement of passing motorists.
