Christmas card competition for young artists unveiled by local charity

‘Tis the season to embrace the festive spirit, and Prospect Hospice has unveiled its 2024 Christmas card competition, tailor-made for the budding Picassos and Van Goghs aged 11 and under.

Young talents, it’s your time to let your imagination sparkle and sleigh your artistic skills. This merry opportunity invites you to draw, paint, and create the most enchanting Christmas scenes. From twinkling Christmas trees and Santa’s sleigh to prancing reindeer and scrumptious mince pies – the possibilities are as endless as Santa’s naughty-and-nice list.

This competition isn’t just about spreading festive cheer; it’s a chance to win dazzling prizes. A panel of Santa’s little helpers will select the winning design, and the lucky winners will receive fantastic goodies, making their spirits bright.

But that’s not all – the crowned winner will have their artwork featured as the official Prospect Hospice Christmas card for 2024, spreading joy and goodwill to all the charity’s supporters.

“Christmas is a time for spreading joy and connecting with our community. The design a Christmas card competition is not just about creating beautiful artwork but also about coming together to support a cause that touches the hearts of many,” said Victoria Canavan, Head of Retail at Prospect Hospice.

All proceeds from the sale of the charity’s Christmas cards will directly support Prospect Hospice’s provision of free care and support to local people and their families facing terminal illness.

To participate, download the entry form at www.prospect-hospice.net/competition or pick one up from any of the hospice’s charity shops or the hospice reception in Wroughton. Locate your nearest shop at www.prospect-hospice.net/shops and be a part of this festive art extravaganza for a good cause.
