Children’s Halloween activities this half-term at The Brunel Shopping Centre

The Brunel Shopping Centre has a packed programme of children’s Halloween entertainment for this year’s October half-term – and it’s free.

The eerie fun starts on the first day of half-term with craft activities.  On both Thursday 19th and Friday 20th October children of all ages will be able to make pumpkin masks, spooky spiders and alike.

On Monday 23rd October there will be cake decorating and Tuesday 24th October will see the return of The Brunel’s popular puppet show, with ghosts and ghouls to entertain the children.

There will then be a colouring competition on Wednesday 25th October, with a chance to win a family ticket to this year’s Wyvern pantomime, balloon modelling on Thursday 26th October plus face painting on 27th and 28th October, meaning there will be something for everyone!

For details of all activities, exact times and locations, you can visit www.thebrunel.co.uk.

All activities are free, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

In addition to these activities, staff in the centre have also arranged a Ghost Tour and Supper Evening, prompted by long-standing rumours that The Brunel Centre is haunted.

The ghost walk will take you on a tour of the depths of the centre’s basement, via a said to be haunted store room, an ancient ice store and an area that rumour has it used to be a morgue.

The fun Ghost Tour takes place on Friday 27th or Saturday 28th October at 7pm.  Tickets cost £15, which includes a meal plus wine or beer.  For full details see www.thebrunel.co.uk.
