Children with separated parents will be able to visit both of them during the current lockdown despite some confusion from a government minister this morning.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain this morning , Cabinet officer Michael Gove advised “You should not be moving children from home to home.”
We need urgent clarity from the Govt. about @michaelgove’s announcement on @GMB re children moving between separated parents’ homes as it directly contradicts current Govt. advice post @BorisJohnson speech last night.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast a short time later he corrected his earlier statement “It is the case that children under the age of 18 can see both parents.”
“I was not clear earlier and I’m grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to be clear now.
“It is the case that there can be that contact.
“One of the things I’m anxious to do is make sure we minimise social contact.
“But… children under the age of 18 can see both parents.”
