Over 150 volunteers braved record breaking high temperatures to attend the Big Volunteer Thank You event last week.
The event was held at the STEAM Museum, where local advocates, ambassadors, politicians, and civic dignitaries attended to show their gratitude for the work the volunteers do.
The celebration was organised to thank our volunteers for the amazing contribution they make to our community.
All volunteers received a certificate and a Volunteer Swindon pin.
Local volunteers include those that volunteer for the vaccination roll out, Swindon Circles, Local Heroes, Active and Inclusive, Forget Me Not Cakes and the Swindon Big Knit.
