Celebrate Father’s Day with a Meaningful Meal at the Prospect Cafe

Swindon’s beloved Prospect Hospice has been serving the community since 1980 with a dedicated team providing exceptional end-of-life care for over 300,000 people in and around the town.

Recognised as an ‘Outstanding’ care provider by the Care Quality Commission, Prospect Hospice operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring that patients receive the care and support they need during their final journey. Remarkably, all the services provided by the hospice are completely free of charge to patients. This incredible feat is made possible through the generosity of the community, which raises an astounding 75% of the annual £7.5 million operating costs through donations.

As Father’s Day approaches, you may be seeking a special way to celebrate and honour the important father figures in your life.

Your Holiday Starts Now

Prospect Hospice invites you to join them for a unique Father’s Day lunch on Sunday, June 18th. This event offers a wonderful opportunity for local families to come together and celebrate the influential father figures in their lives. Whether you plan to celebrate with your dad, or the entire family or choose to cherish the cherished memories of a loved one who has passed away, everyone is welcome at this heartfelt gathering.

Carl Goulding, the catering manager at Prospect Hospice, understands the challenges that special occasions can present for many individuals saying: “We understand that special occasions can be challenging for many and our aim is to make this day as special as possible for those dealing with difficult circumstances.”

Customers will enjoy a delightful two-course menu, carefully prepared by the hospice’s catering team. The menu features a variety of main dishes and desserts, ensuring a memorable dining experience for everyone.

Carl further explains, “We understand that many people in our community have shared experiences with the hospice,” added Carl, “and we believe this is a lovely opportunity to celebrate with your father or celebrate his memory.”

The Father’s Day lunch at Prospect Hospice is priced at £19 per person, and all profits from the sale of food directly support the hospice’s compassionate care. Free parking is available on-site.
