Wiltshire Police have released CCTV images of two men we would like to speak to in relation to a theft and assault at Swindon Supermarine Sports and Social Club.
At approximately 7.45pm on Thursday 1 November, two unknown offenders entered the changing rooms of the sports club and started rifling through bags and clothing left in the men’s locker room.
Soon afterwards, a member of public walked in on the men and as they attempted to leave the changing room one of the offenders assaulted the man in his 30s. Although shaken, he wasn’t physically hurt.
The Images are of the two men police would like to speak to.
PC Andrew Caldwell said: “We would like to hear from anyone who recognises either or both of these men.
“Luckily the member of the public, who tried to stop the suspects leaving, wasn’t seriously hurt; however, the outcome could have been much worse.”
If you recognise these men or can help our enquiries in anyway, please contact PC Andrew Caldwell on 101 quoting crime reference number 54180103708. Or you can contact us anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
