Officers investigating a burglary in Swindon have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon at a supported living complex in Drove Road, when a resident realised a woman had made her way inside her flat through an open door.
She confronted the woman, who apologised and said she was looking for someone else and then left.
Afterwards, the victim, a woman in her 70s, realised various items of jewellery had been stolen.
Police believe this burglary may be linked to two other similar incidents in the Royal Wootton Bassett area around that time.
A CCTV image has been released of a woman police would like to speak to in connection with this burglary. It isn’t the clearest quality but hopefully someone will still recognise her.
