Captain Tom Moore has been admitted to hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, his family has said.
An update posted on Captain Tom’s Twitter account says the 100-year-old was admitted to hospital today after been being treated for pneumonia and last week tested positive for Covid-19.

The Twitter message, written by his daughter Hannah says he needed extra help with his breathing.
He is being treated in a ward at Bedford Hospital but is not in ICU.
