In the early hours of Saturday morning, police officers in Swindon responded to reports of a burglary on Cricklade Road, only to uncover an unexpected scene – a substantial cannabis farm hidden within the property.
The discovery, made around 5:30 am, prompted immediate action from the attending officers, who set up a cordon to secure the area while investigations commenced.
The police have confirmed that all plants within the property were seized as part of their ongoing efforts to address illegal drug operations in the area. They have appealed to the public for any information that may assist in this investigation.
