If you have a passion for sharing knowledge and igniting curiosity, the organisers of Swindon’s Festival of Tomorrow would love to hear from you!
With planning underway for next year’s action-packed celebration of science, innovation, and the arts, the festival team is now seeking proposals for exciting events and activities to be part of the programme.

The Festival of Tomorrow, set to take place in February, boasts an impressive lineup of researchers, industry professionals, artists, writers, charities, academic institutions, businesses, and community groups. Notable names such as Swindon-based UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), The James Dyson Foundation, Neon Dance, and Prime Theatre have already confirmed their participation for the 2024 edition.
Having witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 17,000 people in the previous year, the organisers are determined to make the 2024 Festival even greater.
They aim to create opportunities for a diverse range of ideas from a wide audience, making the event all the more inclusive and captivating. Festival-goers can look forward to an ever-growing array of events, displays, and activities throughout Swindon during the February half-term.
Rod Hebden, Festival of Tomorrow Director said: “We’re looking for events, activities, workshops, performances and art installations that span a diverse range of subjects encompassing science and research in the broadest sense, offering something for everyone, whatever their background and level of interest in science.
“You don’t have to be a science, technology or engineering organisation to get involved. Anyone with a great idea can submit a proposal for a potential event or activity as part of the Festival programme – from individuals and community groups, to artists, performers and academics.”

The festival team is also eager to collaborate with Swindon’s visitor attractions, community spaces, and local venues. If you have a venue and wish to organise or host an event or activity as part of the Festival programme, they would love to hear from you!
The Festival of Tomorrow promises to be an enriching and delightful experience, bringing together the best minds and talents to explore the marvels of science, innovation, and the arts. If you have a compelling idea or an engaging event to share, don’t miss this opportunity to be part of an extraordinary celebration of knowledge and creativity. Let your passion shine and contribute to the magic of Swindon’s Festival of Tomorrow.
