A new calculator can estimate when you will be invited for your Covid vaccine.
The online tool takes into account your age, your health, and whether or not you work in the NHS.
It also bases the calculation on 70.6 per cent of the population taking up the invitation for the vaccine and 1,000,000 vaccines being administered per week.
All you need to do is enter your age, job and if you have a health condition.
It’s based on the Government’s priority list and the likely rate of vaccination.
A 40-year-old healthcare worker with no health conditions would expect to get their vaccine between December 21st of this year and January 17th next year, whereas a healthy 21-year-old could expect to wait until September 15th 2021 to get the vaccine.
Should the vaccination rate hit just 500,000 per week the same healthy 21-year-old could be waiting until as far away as June 14th 2022 to get the jab!
Check out the calculator here and see when you could be invited for the vaccine.
