So you take to the streets at 8pm on a Thursday, you’ve even managed to get the kids out on the street with a saucepan and wooden spoon to really make some noise.
Another way to show your appreciation for the heroes in the NHS is to buy them a pint!
We don’t mean taking them to the pub after their shift, although when this is all over I’m sure if you see them in a bar they would be welcoming of a ‘thank you’ beer. What we are talking about is paying for a beer (or four) which will be sent to any NHS worker that requests it.
Brewgooder, a social enterprise craft beer company in Glasgow, is stepping in to help you say thank you.
Brewgooder allows to send a four-pack of beers to one or more “NHS champions”. It’s been a massive hit. In the first 48 hours of the campaign, more than 4,000 beers were bought and paid for. Your donation of £6 covers the cost price of four beers, a unique message of support, and non-contact delivery to the recipient’s address.
To redeem, NHS staff simply need to enter their work email into the platform and tell Brewgooder where to send the pack and message of support to, when they are ready to receive it.
Alan Mahon, Founder of Brewgooder said “At Brewgooder, social good is the heart of what we do, and acts of social good have never been needed more than now.
“Typically we brew and sell beer to help fund clean drinking water projects across the globe. While this remains our core mission, when we’re needing support on our doorstep, we felt it was right to do our part.
“So, help us recognise the everyday commitment of our NHS champions and buy them one on us, for when they’re ready to enjoy it.”
There is also an option for a non-alcoholic four pack for those within the NHS that do not drink.
