Cineworld Group has officially filed for administration in the UK as part of its restructuring efforts to address its debt levels.
Despite this development, the cinema chain, which includes two locations in Swindon, assures customers that its 128 branches across the UK and Ireland will continue to operate without disruption.
In a statement, Cineworld emphasised that its global business and cinemas will function as usual, unaffected by the administration process. The company’s various brands, including Regal, Cinema City, Picturehouse, and Planet, will continue to welcome film fans to their cinemas.
Additionally, Cineworld remains committed to upholding all existing customer membership programs, such Cineworld Unlimited.
