B&Q reopens more stores with social distancing measures in place – Swindon is one of them

B&Q have reopened more stores this week following a social distancing trial at a number of branches earlier this month.

The DIY stores closed on March 25th and since then customers have only been able to use home delivery and click and collect services to buy items.

Shoppers visiting B&Q are advised that the store is currently not accepting cash, with only card or contactless payments permitted and a number of social distancing measures are in place to ensure shoppers and staff stay safe.

Your Holiday Starts Now

The number of shoppers allowed in store is ‘strictly’ limited and you will most likely end up having to queue beforehand in a designated queuing area.

We also understand the bathroom and kitchen design services, paint mixing, timber cutting and key cutting services are also closed for the time being.

The store will be open Monday – Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm.
