Boris Johnson will hold another televised Downing Street press conference this evening, his third time addressing the nation this week, where he is expected to give more information on the vaccine rollout.
It is believed that the Prime Minister will this evening announce the involvement of the British Army in the next stages of the vaccine delivery but it remains to be seen if that is more of a planning role of one that will see troops deliver the jab.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said last week that the military have already made “plans for up to 250 teams of mobile, medically trained personnel to help deliver the vaccine” and could administer 100,000 vaccines each day “if help was requested by the NHS.”
