The Prime Minister has this afternoon announced that he ‘hopes’ to start reopening schools in England from Monday 8th March.
Speaking in the House of Commons, Boris Johnson said a firm decision would be taken in the week of 22nd February, after the half-term.
Mr Johnson was delivering a Covid-19 update to the House of Commons, a day after announcing more than 100,000 people have now died with the virus in the UK.
