Despite announcing he has reached the threshold of 100 nominations to run in the leadership race, Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has this evening announced he will not run in this weeks race for the Conservative Party leadership.
”I believe I have much to offer but I am afraid this is simply not the right time” he said.
Continuing he said ”You cannot govern unless you have a united party in parliament”
