Discount retailer, B&M, has announced that it will be relocating its Ocotal Way, Swindon store to a much bigger and better site.
Following feedback from regular shoppers that they wanted a bigger shop and even more products, the store team have today confirmed that they will be moving into the former Go Outdoors Site, only a stone’s throw away from the old site.
The Ocotal Way store will much bigger and better with over 25,691 sqft. of sales space, offering an even bigger selection of great bargains from grocery, toiletries and health & beauty to toys, homeware and DIY.
The store will also boast its own 8,677 sqft Garden Centre selling hundreds of plant varieties and gardening products.
The current Ocotal Way bargain store will shut their tills for the final time tomorrow, Saturday 4th March, but customers won’t have to wait much longer to get back in to store as the new site will open its doors at 9am on Saturday 11th March.
The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from The Harbour Project Charity to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.
The Harbour Project Charity welcomes and supports refugees and asylum seekers in Swindon. They have worked tirelessly since Kosovo crisis in 2000 to help those who have risked their lives, families and homes fleeing war and persecution. They welcome over 100 visitors a day to their organisation, offering support, practical help and a warm, safe space for social integration and classes.
The store manager at B&M Swindon said, “We wanted a bigger and better store for our customers, giving them even more big, branded products.
“We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store, we’re really excited to get the doors open very soon.”
