Awdry Law, with seven legal departments encompassing Wills, Tax & Probate, Family Law, Conveyancing, Commercial, Land & Development, Dispute Resolution, and Employment Law, has found in Mia a dynamic and creative force driving their marketing efforts.

Reflecting on her journey with Awdry Law, Mia expressed her gratitude for the diverse experiences she gained during her apprenticeship, including campaign planning, content creation, social media management, events, and general business development. One of her standout accomplishments was playing a crucial role in the firm’s rebrand from Awdry Bailey & Douglas to Awdry Law. Mia spearheaded the rebrand promotion through social media, email marketing, and innovative initiatives, creating anticipation and engagement among key stakeholders.

In Mia’s words, “No two days are the same, and I am given the freedom to be creative, with enthusiasm from all the people here, and specifically the management board, to continue to suggest and develop new and unique marketing projects.”

Choosing the apprenticeship route proved to be the catalyst for Mia’s successful career in digital marketing. She highlighted the value of gaining real-life experience in the industry while studying, leading to a qualification and a solid foundation for her career. Mia encouraged aspiring digital marketers to consider apprenticeships as an effective way to kickstart their careers.

Tim Hotchkiss, Equity Partner, and Mia’s supervisor, commended Mia’s journey and also highlighted her hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication to learning saying, “Mia’s success story is a source of inspiration for those considering the apprenticeship route and I have been delighted with how her career to date at Awdry Law has evolved.

“Mia is an excellent example of what can be achieved with hard work, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn. I have been particularly impressed with just how well Mia has adapted to her new role.

“She is intelligent, hardworking, shows passion for marketing and is a superb asset to the business. Mia’s success is not only a testament to her abilities but also to the value of apprenticeships.

“It has been incredibly rewarding to follow the trajectory of Mia and other Apprentices during my nineteen years at the firm and I have enjoyed watching them grow and develop as they forge their own paths. As a business, we look forward to working with more Apprentices in the future.”
